This event, taking place on Thursday 10th October as part of Bpifrance Inno Génération, brings together over 40,000 entrepreneurs and serves as a cornerstone for European angel investors. ESIL will raise awareness about the importance of business angel investments in Europe, highlighting their role in supporting startups, providing mentorship, and promoting early-stage investment.
Promoting Collaboration and Driving Investment Flows Across Borders
ESIL is excited to announce an upcoming online workshop taking place during the Big Angels Day event, titled “How ESIL is supporting Business Angels?”. The workshop, scheduled for 10th October from 2:00 PM to 2:40 PM, aims to explore strategies for empowering a diverse generation of business angels and promoting cross-border investments across Europe.
Led by Luigi Amati, co-founder at Italian Angels for Growth and Honorary President at Business Angels Europe (BAE), the workshop will feature industry experts sharing insights on the challenges and opportunities faced by business angels in today’s rapidly evolving startup landscape.
Key topics to be discussed include empowering a new generation of younger, geographically diverse, and gender-inclusive business angels, as well as increasing cross-country investments between angel investors. The workshop aims to encourage greater participation and representation from underrepresented groups, ensuring a diverse and inclusive startup ecosystem that reflects the talent and perspectives across Europe.
The speakers at the workshop include Jenny Tooth, OBE, Vice President of Diversity at Business Angels Europe (BAE) and Executive Chair at UK Business Angels Association, who will share valuable insights into promoting diversity and inclusion in the investment landscape. Additionally, Reginald Vossen, President at Business Angels Europe (BAE) and CEO at BAN Flanders, will provide knowledge and experience in fostering collaboration and driving investment flows across borders.
