The Effective Angel Investment Programme, held in Warsaw from October 7-11, 2024, is designed to equip Angel Investors with the necessary skills and insights to invest in innovative businesses. Organised by the EU-funded ESIL initiative, this training provides an invaluable opportunity to learn from leading figures in the most developed Angel Investment markets across Europe and Poland. With a focus on early-stage, high-growth potential businesses, this course aims to boost their competence and knowledge, helping them to become successful investors.
Luigi Amati, ESIL Archangel explains that Europe is still divided when it comes to angel investing and gap between top tier countries and widening countries remains large, even more when considering startups focused on strategic technologies . Another undesirable characteristic of the current BA community is that the community is largely composed by male investors. ESIL capacity building will address these challenges with both in presence and online capacity building which will be followed by mentoring on syndication.
Join the next generation of Polish angels
This programme is suitable for individuals from various backgrounds, including successful entrepreneurs and those with experience in technology, engineering, and innovation. Women and people of all ages are particularly encouraged to apply. The essential criterion is having the financial capacity to invest and a willingness to take risks to support early-stage businesses. Business skills and expertise, coupled with willingness to invest, will help start-ups grow and succeed, potentially bringing investors back a significant return.
