The EU-funded project URBAN TECH is proud to announce its final event, “Innovate for Europe – Greentech, Health Tech & Smart City Showdown”, scheduled for June 6th and 7th, 2024.
The event is set to take place in association with the 15seconds Festival, offering a platform to showcase innovative solutions across the Greentech, Smart City, and HealthTech sectors.
Over the course of two days, 10 SMEs and start-ups who have journeyed through the URBAN TECH programme and reached the last Funding Stages will demonstrate their cutting-edge solutions, developed in response to over 300 challenges. This final event not only marks the end of a 3-year journey but also serves as a networking hub for companies, stakeholders, investors, and partners to engage in pitching, matchmaking, and partnership-building activities.
Highlights of the Event Include
URBAN TECH pitch session: s series of pitching sessions where companies will present their innovative solutions in Smart City, Greentech, and HealthTech sectors to a jury and attendees.
Investor meetup sessions: dedicated sessions for solution providers to meet and engage with investors, facilitating discussions on funding opportunities, business growth, and strategic partnerships.
Demonstration activities: an interactive showcase at URBAN TECH booth where attendees can experience firsthand the innovative solutions developed by URBAN TECH start-ups and SMEs, offering an overview of Smart City, Greentech and HealthTech innovative products and services.
Panel discussion on urban innovation: a panel discussion exploring the possibilities of urban innovation through collaborative partnerships, featuring experts from various sectors.
The URBAN TECH programme has been supporting over 80 companies in developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), with 32 advancing to the piloting stage and 23 to the Market Discovery stage.
This event is a celebration of their achievements and an opportunity to meet a vibrant community of innovators.
The event is conceived to be a networking and matchmaking opportunity, highlighting the importance of innovation and collaboration in addressing the challenges facing urban environments today. We invite all interested parties to join us at the 15seconds Festival venue for this event.
