The CODECS project will hold its Final Conference on 15-16 September 2026 at the Fondation Universitaire in Brussels, Belgium.
This event will mark a key milestone for the project, providing a platform to highlight the role of sustainable and inclusive digitalisation in supporting the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of European agriculture, in line with current and upcoming EU policy priorities
About the conference
Day 1 will focus on the research insights generated by CODECS, presenting the conceptual framework, empirical analyses of digital ecosystems, and evidence on the environmental, economic and social impacts of farm digitalisation. Through presentations and a round table discussion, the day will combine scientific findings with Living Lab experiences to provide a comprehensive understanding of how digitalisation operates in practice across European farming systems.
Day 2 will focus on policy implications, exploring how European frameworks, governance systems and innovation networks shape digital agriculture. The programme will present practical policy tools developed by CODECS and facilitate discussions between policymakers, researchers and stakeholders to identify priorities for ensuring a sustainable, inclusive and well-governed digital transformation of agriculture in Europe.
