23 June 2026 | 14:00 – 16:00 CET | Online Webinar
Join representatives from Horizon Europe and other EU-funded projects working on circular construction, bio-based materials, and sustainable building systems for an interactive webinar exploring emerging project findings, implementation experiences, and future policy perspectives.
The webinar will showcase innovative construction materials, technologies, demonstration activities, and sustainability solutions currently being developed across participating projects. Project teams will present their objectives, key achievements, lessons learned, and the practical challenges encountered during implementation.
Beyond the technical innovations, the discussion will explore a number of recurring themes emerging across projects, including regulatory and certification challenges, procurement and market uptake barriers, and the practical conditions required to support wider adoption of circular and bio-based construction solutions.
The webinar aims to:
- compare emerging findings and policy implementation perspectives across participating projects;
- discuss recurring barriers linked to regulations, certification, procurement, and market uptake;
- explore how evolving EU policy frameworks may influence future circular construction ecosystems; and
- strengthen collaboration between projects through knowledge exchange, coordinated dissemination activities, and future stakeholder engagement initiatives.
The session will provide a valuable opportunity to learn directly from ongoing projects, exchange experiences with fellow researchers and practitioners, and gain insights into the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of circular and bio-based construction in Europe.
Researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, clusters, public authorities, students, and other interested stakeholders are warmly invited to participate.
