PARIS — June 9, 2026 — AgroParisTech, with the support of the European FOODCITYBOOST project, is proud to announce the official launch of URBANAA (www.urbanaa.fr), an innovative assessment tool designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the sustainability of urban agriculture initiatives.
Developed through rigorous scientific research and extensive stakeholder collaboration, URBANAA provides urban agriculture actors with a flexible and scientifically validated framework of indicators to evaluate and improve the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of their projects. The tool utilizes a survey format to produce results in a matrix.
Τhe initiative was developed with crucial financial and contextual support from several research projects, notably the European project FOODCITYBOOST, which focuses on sustainable urban food systems.
