Two Online Events Bring Together Researchers, Industry, Policymakers and Civil Society
The ARGONAUT project, a Horizon Europe-funded initiative developing an AI-powered environmental impact assessment tool for bio-based products, is pleased to announce the organisation of two public workshops:
“Measuring what matters: AI & Transparency in bio-Based Products”
The workshops will take place online via Zoom on April 28, 2026 (14:00–15:30 CET) and April 29, 2026 (12:00–13:30 CET), with a focus on the Italian and Lithuanian bio-based value chains respectively, the 6 (six) use cases at the core of the ARGONAUT project.
About the Workshops
These workshops are designed as open, free participatory events bringing together a wide range of stakeholders, including for small and medium-sized producers, researchers and academics, industry representatives, policymakers and regulatory bodies, environmental organisations, and civil society at large. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the first-ever demonstration of the JASON tool to:
- Gain insights into the latest developments of ARGONAUT use cases
- Contribute feedback to reinforce the ongoing development of the JASON tool
- Network with experts and stakeholders in the bio-based and agri-food sectors

About ARGONAUT
ARGONAUT aims to create the JASON, an accessible AI-powered tool, that assesses the environmental and climate impact of bio-based products across their entire lifecycle, using blockchain technology for secure tracking through a “digital passport.” ARGONAUT is actively empowering small and medium-sized producers to make more sustainable decisions by providing them with reliable information and comparisons of different value chain options. The four-year project started on 1 January 2025 and brings together a consortium of nine partners from six European countries, with expertise spanning AI, blockchain, LCA, digital passports, and stakeholder engagement.
We look forward to your active participation in this collaborative effort to support in the transitions to a more circular and sustainable bioeconomy.
