The EU-funded ESIL initiative, is ready to enhance the Business Angels ecosystems in six selected countries where the investment landscape is still in need of development: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Romania.
To achieve this goal, ESIL is organising a 16-hour in-person training course access to a series of online webinars, led by highly experienced business angels and local angel investing leaders in each of the selected countries. These training courses aim to empower the current and future ‘European Next Generation of Angels’.
Capacity-building training will provide an invaluable opportunity to learn from leading figures in the most developed Angel Investment markets across Europe. The training program aims to enhance the competence and knowledge of early-stage, high-growth potential businesses, with the aim of encouraging more (female) angels to start and successfully invest.
Jenny Tooth OBE, VP diversity of Business Angels Europe and content creator of the training courses, comments: “ESIL recognises that, access to professional knowledge and insights on the art of successful investing, is key to both building the skills and effectiveness of existing Angel investors and enabling many more individuals in the six target countries to learn how to Angel invest. We hope that many individuals in each country, including a strong number of women, will be attracted to take part in this exclusive programme and boost their potential to back entrepreneurship and innovation.”
