The digital transformation of agriculture is rapidly evolving to address global challenges such as food security, climate change adaptation and resource efficiency. However, harnessing its full potential requires more than just technology. It calls for a deep integration of inclusive innovation principles, the strengthening of robust knowledge and innovation systems (AKIS) and the development of enabling policy frameworks that foster long-term resilience and equitable growth.
This CODECS Bootcamp offers an integrated learning opportunity to examine how digitalisation works on the ground, within knowledge and innovation systems, and at the policy level. Through real-life demonstrations, AKIS strategies that bridge the gap between research and practice, and policy reflections, the event creates a space for capacity building, mutual learning, practical skills, and actionable dialogue between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
