The REVERTER project, which receives funding from the Horizon Europe Life programme, a significant achievement has been made by completing the project’s second phase with success.
The main goal of creating the REVERTER Hub is to make it easier for policy-makers, stakeholders, and European citizens to access the project’s outcomes and gain valuable insights into energy poverty, energy efficiency, and building renovation.
Simultaneously, four unique Digital One-Stop Shops have been introduced in pilot countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, and Portugal. These digital platforms are tailored to engage residents in specific regions within the pilot areas, including ambassadors, local communities, stakeholders, and policy-makers. They play a central role in distributing information.
Each Digital One-Stop Shop’s initial version provides essential details about renovation efforts in the respective pilot area, along with embedded links to additional sources of information and relevant contacts. These platforms will regularly undergo updates to ensure that the latest and most pertinent insights are seamlessly delivered to residents in these designated regions.
The first iteration of each Digital One-Stop Shop contains crucial information about renovation work and the benefits of renovating multi-apartment buildings and single-family houses in the pilot region. These platforms feature active links that connect users to supplementary information sources and appropriate contacts. Over time, these platforms will evolve and be consistently updated to offer the most up-to-date and relevant information to the residents of these areas.
Developed collaboratively by WIT Berry in close partnership with REVERTER partners in each pilot area, the Digital One-Stop Shops, along with the REVERTER Hub, will be continuously monitored for performance and enhanced through iterative processes. This approach is vital for refining their content and functionality, ensuring they stay aligned with the changing expectations and requirements of users.
Beyond their immediate usefulness, the insights gained from these platforms’ performance will be used to provide recommendations for regions aiming to establish their own Digital One-Stop Shops. Thus, the REVERTER project not only tackles energy-related challenges but also offers a model for the potential launch of similar digital platforms in various geographical contexts.
